Low and behold, I have a newly-discovered talent: I can pause the dvd on a shot and draw it with very close accuracy onto a piece of paper (without tracing, you bad people!) That is how you all get this. I was doing it for myself, but I thought it would be good for you all, too. Love me now.

The thing about fma is that it is one of those shows where the characters' features change ALOT to suit the mood or the action. That makes it really hard, because each character has a range of how their facial proportions can be. What I love about Envy is that he is one of those anime characters that uses his feet more than his hands, and so, going along with that type of chara, is one that portrays emotions more with how he holds his body---standing and sitting---rather than what he says. Though, at the same time, this makes his character so wonderful, because his emotions that go along with his lines (and the lines themselves) are so much more expressive. (case and point: sitting on the bed somewhere in ep 48/9) Also, just look at any time he fights. Pause and study. Wonderful. Or that whole half-bent over, sitting on the heels with one arm resting on one leg shot that he does so well; that can be seen in the last ending, too, in the cememtery shot. Oh, I love the way his hair flips around in that one, too. Like mine does! Sugoi! squee!
