I'm thinking that in the final product, I'll have Al's eye looking longingly and conflictedly at the chest, rather than the camera. I had a choice, and made the wrong one. Ah well. We'll see.
To think, this started out as a picture of Al being despondant, contemplating downing the contents of a hip flask. To commemorate this, there is at least a jug of moonshine (good ol' pinako) in this final version. I don't know how to color this. I was thinking sort of washed out, and that didn't work. Anime colors might be too bold and not convey the meaning, though they might convey the vibrancy of life Al's trying to cling to. what color should the curtains be? I know the picture's not set up terribly well, especially in that respect, and I suck terribly at color key. Help, anybody?
